Once again the paintings have arrived amazingly packed. I think that it is incredible that something as fragile as a painting can travel all those miles and arrive intact!
I am really pleased with both of them, and in particularly the smaller of the two. Now to the framing and the fun (or difficulty,for I now have quite a number of paintings from you) of finding the spot to hang them!

Yes indeed we received the painting by I. Avramenko. My wife is also very happy with it and we are sure that we want another painting by him.
Our impression about his work, that he is very modern and also a fascinating how he works with his paint. My opinion is that you can see new directions in art from Russia.

The picture arrived this morning, I am very pleased, a quick delivery after all the problems.
There is a stamped letter with it but being in Russian I do not know what it is. You said that the authenticity will come separately by post, but perhaps this is it.
I shall treasure the painting and get it framed. Having looked at so many, I think this one is stunningly original.
